How to Test & Refill
- Select the Adapter: Choose the correct colour-coded adapter for the vehicle's radiator or expansion tank using the included compatibility chart.
- Pressure Test: Attach the coolant pressure test pump. Pump the system to the manufacturer's recommended pressure (usually 15-20 PSI). Monitor the gauge; a drop in pressure indicates a leak. Visually inspect hoses, water pump, and matrix.
- Release Pressure: Once testing is complete, use the pressure relief valve on the pump before disconnecting.
- Vacuum Purge: Drain the old coolant. Attach the coolant vacuum purge tool to the adapter and connect your workshop air line (90 PSI). Open the valve to draw a vacuum until the gauge reads between -50 and -60 cmHg.
- Refill System: Close the air valve, connect the coolant filler hose, and submerge the other end into a fresh jug of mixed coolant. Open the fluid valve to allow the vacuum to draw the coolant into the system flawlessly, preventing any air locks.

Great radiator cap tester kit and pressure pump. The only minor issue is you need a decent compressor to get a strong enough vacuum for the refill tool to work at its best. Once you hook it up to a 50L compressor though, it fills an entire system in seconds.
